Spring 2010: Best Runway Looks (Part 3: C)

Calvin Klein
This season Francisco Costa kept the clean look (his signature look for CK), but changed his last year strict geometry into soft washed-out crumpled shapes.

Carlos Miele
Amazingly beautiful dresses! Love-love-love them!

Carolina Herrera
To be honest that collection didn't impress me that much, but nonetheless there are several good looks.

Celine
At Celine I like fabrics and tailoring. My most fave here - the 1st dress and the black leather skirt + white blouse.

Chado Ralph Rucci
Nothing special, but just nice and elegant looks for day.

Chanel

Here comes Chanel!
I think it is very symbolic that Karl used this set for Chanel Spring show, because Coco was very close (both physically and especially mentally) to the countryside. I really enjoyed watching this show full of beautiful dresses, it was such a pleasure to look at models who smile and act playfully and walt this "runway" the way they want and feel. Have to say that is not the first thing you might expect from Karl who is known to be very strict about fashion standards. Thank you, uncle! :)

Chloé
Nice comfortable looks, great dresses, I like the flaunting light fabric.

Christian Cota
Sweet dresses :)

Christian Dior

Sexy dresses at Dior, so sexy that when you look at them you might question: should I wear them to the bedroom or dare and wear them to the outside? Definitely a clothes for a super-confident women, you better be one. The tricky thing is not to look like a woman of a certain profession if you put it on to go out, you know what I mean ;)

Christopher Kane

I really like the shapes and color of these dresses and the way plaids match other prints and colors. Ther last 4 looks are awesome!

Costume National
Well these are some looks for a very hot summer!

Cynthia Steffe
Nice looks, I like how the drapery and ruffles are used, interesting details.

Resort 2010 (Part 3: C)

Calvin Klein
Very light, flawless collection. Very clean, I would say. I like the fabrics, I feel hot summer from these looks.

Chado Ralph Rucci
This brand is new to me. Such a great cute dresses! Love the volume of the skirts in 1st and 3rd dresses and like all the colors here.

Chanel

This collection was shown in Venice and was called "Coco on the Lido" (Mademoiselle Chanel used to visit Venice for nearly 10 years starting in 1919). We see the classic for Chanel sailor theme here, a perfect suit and several gorgeous evening dresses. The hair & make-up might be a little too extravagant and a bit distracting, but all together they form a complete look, very thirties. Love it.

Chloé
We see some sailor theme here at Chloé too - I think it is a universal thing any designer can use in his cruise collection. About the 2nd look with the jumpsuit - can't explain why, but I like it :) And I love the 3rd dress - though it might be a jumpsuit as well (the pants are so wide I can hardly tell if they are pants or skirt), that would be even more interesting.

Christian Dior
Classic Dior looks + crazy hair = funny, but classy and elegant :)

Collette Dinnigan
Mmm, a burst of color :) Nice shapes and fabrics + interesting details.

Costume National
Well this is purely a daywear - nearly anywhere and everywhere you can dressed up like this.
