Spring 2010: Best Runway Looks (Part 9: L)

Lanvin

Beautiful collection full of drapery and shuttlecocks. Can't say that I liked a lot from this collection, but there are several really beautiful dresses.

Lela Rose
Nice casual feminine looks.

Louis Vuitton
To be honest, my first reaction when I saw these pictures was "WTF, is he kidding?!" I mean, seriously? What was Marc thinking when he made this collection? Just how stupid and blind his clients are or what? Especially those shoes... Ew! But then after looking at these pictures for about a thousand times I figured that you can actually wear some dresses and not look ridiculous. But shoes get a big NO-NO from me.

Louise Goldin
Gorgeous gentle looks, I fell in love with them.

Luca Luca
Nice & elegant daywear.

Hervé Léger by Max Azria
I like this collection A LOT more than the fall one, so refreshing.

J. Mendel
Very feminine and soft collection, I really like it. Very elegant.

Jason Wu
Nice silhouettes and good tailoring. Dresses are good for an evening out.

Jenni Kayne
Love the length of the skirts and the whole concept of collection.

Jonathan Saunders
Nice colors and fabrics. Very simple and easy to wear during the day.

Fall 2009: Best Runway Looks (Part 12: L)

Lanvin

I had sensed forties in this collection, and I liked it very much. Though on the one hand it has a bit of retro, I can absolutely see it on the streets and in the offices in the 21st century.

Loewe

The well-known leather goods company is taking clothing serious, and I've found these 3 looks the most interesting amongst their fall collection.

Louis Vuitton

Luisa Beccaria

Very gentle collection. First three - good for daywear, and the last dress is outstanding! Divine.
