One Sunday in the country

Can't remember if I have already told you or not - I am not a big fan of Sasha Pivovarova. I don't quite love her look or the way she presents herself, but I do respect her as a top-model and am always interested in her works.
For example this photoshoot called "One Sunday in the country" ("Un dimanche a la campagne") for November issue of french Vogue completely charmed me - it is so gentle and fairy, filled with care and love, play and childhood... Insanely beautiful pictures!

Не помню, говорила я или нет - я не большая фанатка Пивоваровой. Мне не слишком импонирует её образ и манера подавать себя, хотя как топ-модель я её уважаю и всегда с интересом смотрю её работы.
В частности эта фотосессия под названием "Однажды в воскресенье за городом" Саши для ноябрьского номера французского Vogue меня просто очаровала - она настолько нежная и воздушная, пропитанная заботой и лаской, игрой и детством... Безумно красивые снимки!

New Vogue

 

Today I had finally put my hands on the fresh Vogue Russia issue. It was particularly interesting for me to read it, because it's the first issue under the new editor-in-chief, Viktoria Davidova.
Well... Whether it's the fact that I was ready to criticize, or I was used to the Vogue by Doletskaya (it might have been good or bad, but still), or that special something the magazine used to have was really lost, but the issue seemed to be totally different, awkward and even illogical... It looks the same, but it is different...
Time will tell and until then I'm getting warm by a hot cocoa ))

Сегодня я наконец-то добралась до октябрьского русского Vogue. Этот номер представлял для меня особый интерес в связи с тем, что это первый номер под редакцией нового главреда - Виктории Давыдовой.
Не знаю... То ли дело в том, что я заранее была критично настроена, то ли в том, что я привыкла в Vogue Долецкой (каким бы он за это время ни был, хорошим или плохим), то ли действительно что-то такое характерное-неосязаемое исчезло из журнала, но на первый взгляд номер показался мне совсем другим, где-то нескладным и даже нелогичным... Вроде бы всё то же, но всё не то...
Время покажет, а пока что меня греет горячее какао ))

Masterpieces

This editorial called "Masterpieces" ("Meisterwerke") caught my eye by it's style, the backstage mood and Anja Rubik shot by Camilla Akrans, who plays her role very naturally. The gorgeous couture gowns don't look too pretentious to me here, they look like real clothes, and I love that approach.

Роскошный кутюр
Эта фотосессия под названием "Шедевры" ("Meisterwerke") привлекла моё внимание стилем съёмки, настроением backstage и Аней Рубик снятой Камиллой Акранс, которая замечательно играет свой образ. Рокошный кутюрные наряды выглядят не помпезно, а как реальные вещи, и мне очень нравится такой подход.

       

Delicious red

Today's editorial is a story in red. Not so long ago I started to feel attraction to this color, though I'm still very skeptical about it and don't like it in every possible way it's shown. But still, red is a very powerful, beautiful and very feminine and sexy color. The heroine of this shoot is ukrainian model Anna Zakusylo shot by Emre Ünal for September issue of Turkish Vogue. The shoot is called "Cekim Alani" which means "Gravitational field".
I guess this is red gravitation's forcing me towards this color :)

Прекрасный красный
Сегодняшняя фотосессия - история в красном цвете. С недавних пор меня начал манить этот цвет, хотя по прежнему воспринимаю его не во всех вариациях и отношусь достаточно скептически. Но всё же красный - это сильно, красиво, невероятно женственно и сексуально. Героиня съемки - уркаинская модель Анна Закусило, взгляд - фотограф Emre Ünal [Эмре Юналь], название истории - Гравитационное поле.
Видимо это гравитация красного и действует на меня :)

One more gorgeous September issue editorial, this time with Karlie Kloss by Peter Lindbergh for Vogue US. I love this editorial because it has such a New York spirit and the clothes are very cosy and beautiful. The story is called "Checks and the city" and covers one of upcoming fall's trends - checks.

       

Vogue Australia September 2010

I was charmed by this editorial called "A fine romance" from australian Vogue! I love clothes, make-up, styling, lightening - everything. It is very inspiring to me.
