It skipped away from me, but here are some big news: Carine Roitfeld, the editor in chief of French Vogue, has been blacklisted by the house of Balenciaga. She and her team from the magazine were not invited to the fashion house's latest fall/winter show.
Why? What was the reason? We don't have any comments from Balenciaga's rep, but here is what Carine said at Nina Ricci's fashion show:
“We’re blacklisted. It’s too bad, it’s a beautiful house and it’s French. I hope that it’s not forever.”
She also noted that Balenciaga no longer advertises in the magazine or lends it clothes.
I'll wait for more information to come, but this seems to be a big scandal.
